Copyediting
For your document or script, we complete all evaluation and editing using the Microsoft Office Word tracker - sample above- to indicate why and how changes are made. We can communicate these changes for acceptance or copy as they are made. I can offer technical, commercial, fiction, and non-fiction material.
Line editing and copyediting are both sentence-level editing tasks that can be combined into one process. Line editing improves the text's readability and flow, while copyediting ensures accuracy and consistency. Copyediting normally comes after line editing, as the manuscript should be finalised before copyediting.
Proofreading
Proofreading is the final editing stage and involves checking for typos and grammatical errors. Proofreading is done after the draft has been thoroughly edited for significant issues.
For this service, I usually mark up any changes directly on a copy of the forwarded pdf, which is returned to you in that format.
Writing services
Content and article writing services: I can produce excellent material, including short or extended articles, stories, manuals, and documents on technical, commercial, nonfiction, and fiction topics. I adhere to the CME Manual of Style or New Harts Rules. (The Oxford Style Guide) when formatting documents.
